Northern Art Teacher SiteA teacher site that I found interesting and well organized was the Northern Art Teacher, Colleen Rouse. This site was awesome and very easy to navigate. Colleen is a visual arts teacher from Ontario who started this blog to try new activities with her class and incorporate a new kind of learning environment. She has art chats which is where her and other art educators discuss different art and share resources with each other. This is helpful because it gives everyone the chance to hear new ideas that they may not have thought of on their own. On the home page of the site is all the recent things she's posted. In a recent post she asks for help on how to create a better conference space and asks others for feedback. I think this is a great way to use a blog, to get help and advice from other teachers. She has a tab just called artwork which showcases some of the paintings she's done. Overall I really enjoyed this site, I liked the pictures and all the YouTube videos she provided. It was easy and entertaining to read!
